Leveling, loosening, aerating, crumbling and reconsolidating – five work steps in one pass. The powerful heavy seedbed combination is optimal for intensive seedbed preparation, even on heavy soils. And so variable that it can also be used as a field roller.
The FlatSpring levels rough plow furrows. Rugged spring steel tines aerate, crumble and mix in plant debris. The Prism Roller® ensures an excellent seedbed through reconsolidation.
Available in two versions: LK 30 or LK 40 with rigid frame, LK 40 hydraulically foldable.
The robust slim tines have been proven for years. They pick up little moist soil, stones or plant debris.
Heavy soils should be allowed to flash off and gray after plowing. Then they can still be crumbled to some extent. If you wait too long, the clods become hard as stone and seedbed preparation becomes unnecessarily laborious. With this soil, we should not have waited another day! In some cases, this will mean that you are actually creating the seedbed way too early. However, this “wrong” seedbed will become more and more important in the future. Namely, it leads to the fact that the weeds are stimulated to germinate and emerge. In the final seedbed preparation immediately before sowing, they are then controlled mechanically. How to prevent herbicide resistance!
The previous photo shows this floor in close-up. Nevertheless, it manages to leave a field ready for seeding with two passes.
